Halloween!!!

Well, Halloween was here!!!!  We had such a fun time!  Chris and Rachel came over with Jaquelyn and we all had dinner!!!  I made soup - in hopes that it would be cooler! Well,  ha! ha!  It was in the high 70s!!!!  Horrible trick or treat weather!  But, we still had a great time!

We went to two homes and enjoyed every minute!  Then, we headed for home!  Yes, after two homes we were all worn out!  It was lots of fun!  However, every time a neighbor would bend down to put candy in Benjamin's basket he would instantly pick it up and put it back in their bowl!!!!!  (at school he is learning how to place an object in one container and transport it to another!)  Looks like he is mastering that task!!!!

Fall is here!!!!

Yea!  We LOVE fall!!!!!  Benjamin and I had a great time today!  So, I pulled out my camera and started shooting!  So Fun!!!!  Enjoy some of my favorites!!!!!

Crazy about PINK!

Ok, I am so excited!  I just had a shoot with my great friend - Rachel's - daughter!  She is wonderful!  It was not long, but, we got some great shots!  Here are some of my favorites...   click on to enlarge!

Life is passing quickly!

Ok!  Things have been going so quickly lately!  Here is an overview...God is doing some MAJOR renovations in the Butler house!!!! 

Brad is home safely from Spain!!!!!  He was gone for 3 weeks with the Air Force!  We survived a horrible situation while renovating our basement!!!  (This includes a crack junkie and Brad being overseas...not a good combo!)  But, God is good and we are safe!  Benjamin going through roseola (sp?), a stomach virus,  and starting a new school.  I started a new Bible study - Beth Moore's "A Woman's Heart, God's Dwelling Place - One word - AMAZING!!!!  I am also joining MOPS tomorrow and am sooooooo excited!!!!

Ok, Benjamin is going to Oak Forrest Montessori School here in Longview.  We wanted to put Benjamin in eventually, but, they had an opening for his age!  We are so excited!  It is pretty amazing...what 18 month olds can do!  I was sold when I saw 8, 18mo olds, walking down the hall with their hands behind their backs!!!  Oh, and NOT ONE made a sound!  The best part - they were all SMILING!!!!!!!  Here is Benjamin on the first day of school!!!!!  (they all have uniforms!)  I was always a sucker for a man in uniform!!!! ; )   

Ok...the renovations God is doing...well, I can't say now, because He is in the works!  Please, keep praying for us!  We are still seeking Him and are trying to make Lonview our home! 

All this to say...Life is passing quickly!  I am trying to be wise of my time and spend as much of it with my GROWING little boy!!!!!!

Great Day!

God is good!  He has given me several amazing friends!  Well, now I have a wonderful friend with a daughter 3 months older than Benjamin!  And what a cutie she is!!!!!  Rachel and I have been having such a great time that we thought it was time for a play date!  Great Weather + Great Pool + Great Friends = A Blessed Day!!!!!!   ("Jac Mac" is short for Jacqueline!)  We had the BEST time!!!  Thanks for the invite!!!

So Sweet!

Well, here is the lates photo shoot and can I say..."PRECIOUS!"  Babies are truly a gift from the Lord and a glimpse of His goodness!!!!

This is Slayde Curtis Hopson and he has the most BEAUTIFUL blue eyes!  Crystal Blue eyes!!!!       Jennifer is a friend of mine  - we met throught  the Longview Junior League!  We  are both provisionals this year.  We got to know eachother well as we stood together at our Provisional Tea!  She has been a blessing!                           

                            

Something new!

New things scare me!  I love being in the comfort of things I am confident in and know well!  However, I was asked to photograph a wedding last month!  It was not just any wedding, it was Brad's cousin, Casey!  So, I said yes, and PRAYED that I would capture the beauty of her wedding day! 

Casey was a stunning bride! The evening was flawless!!!!  The setting was one of the most beautiful settings I have ever seen!  A chapel int he country that was built in 1887!  Amazing!   It was the perfect evening!

Ok, I am finally back!  Things here have been CRAZY BUSY!  In a nut shell...Benjamin had strep for 3 weeks, Brad's brother got married, we have renovated 4 of our bathrooms, the kitchen cabinets and the dining room, my brother got engaged, Benjamin and I were gone for over two weeks (visiting family) and now we are home until the end of July - and BOY, does it feel good!!!!!

Here was the Mother's Day card I sent out...

Here are some fun ones I took of Benjamin in his "wedding" outfit!  Yes, Brad held Benjamin's hand the entire way down the aisle in Cory and Meredith's wedding!  It was PRECIOUS!  What was even cuter...when Benjamin saw all the candles at the front of the church he started blowing really big (thinking he could blow them out) and continued to huff and puff all the way down!  It was great!    I just love these Jon Jon rompers!  I will be very sad when he grows out of this stage!  Benjamin was not happy with me!  I placed him by the fern and it was sticking him!  I had to shoot quickly!
